"CUTIES" Cheer/Pom Classes begin on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012

"Girls Inc. Cuties" are here!! Girls Inc. will begin their first Saturday Session of Cheer/Pom classes. The "Cuties" will learn the beginning steps to be a cheerleader as well as more advanced cheerleaders are welcome to demonstrate their knowledge of cheerleading moves and motions.

The classes are Saturdays from 10am - 1pm, beginning Saturday, March 3rd and ending with a final performance on Saturday, March 31st. The cost to be a "Girls Inc. Cutie" is $10/per week or $50 for the entire 5 week session. There are only 20 spaces available so you MUST sign up to be guaranteed a space.

Ages 6 and up are able to be a "Girls Inc. Cutie". Parents are responsible for lunch. If you have any questions or just want to be added to the list, please contact us at 314-385-8088. Girls Inc. Girls Inc. has Summer Positions Available!

Girls Inc. is hiring for our 8-week Summer Camp. We are looking for people to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, . Camp starts Monday June 11th and ends on Friday, August 3rd, 2012.

The positions that we are looking to fill are:

Two (2) Science Teachers

One (1) Kindergarten Teacher

Two (2) Kindergarten Assistants

One (1) Teen Coordinator

Three (3) Floaters (sub-teachers)

One (1) Check-In Person

Horton's Hard Hit Quick Start Tennis Program

Horton's Hard Hit Quick Start Tennis Program is a new format tennis program to help children age 11 and under learn how to play the game of tennis.

The benefits of a quick start tennis program are: The kids play the game immediately, Smaller court size, Smaller racquets, Larger balls, Modified scoring.

Quick Start Tennis will be held Saturday, February 18th - March 24th from 11:30am until 1:00pm, here at the Girls Inc. center. The fee is $60. Please contact Coach Roger Horton at 314-378-4048 or rogero100@aol.com for more information. The first 10 students will be accepted.

Spring Break Headquarters - 2012

Spring Break is upon us again and Girls Inc is here for your childcare needs.

For our current members ages 5 and up (membership paid for 2012) the fee is $55.00. If you are a non-member and your membership for 2012 is not paid, the fee is $60.00. Spring Break will be Monday, March 19th - Friday, March 23rd, from 7am until 6pm. Parents are responsible for breakfast and lunch (no refrigeration or heating allowed). Girls Inc. will provide afternoon snacks. There will be daily activities and field trips. One field trip will have a fee. Payment is due in FULL by, Friday, March 9th.

Fourth Annual Fairy Glam Project set for Sunday, April 1st, 2012

The Fairy Glam Project is back for the fourth year and NV Showroom Boutique, located downtown at 1308A Washington Ave, will be collecting gently used dresses, accessories and handbags now through March 17th that will be given away to qualifying young ladies who want to attend prom. NV Showroom Boutique has once again teamed up with Girls Inc. of St. Louis for this event. Girls Inc., located at 3801 Nelson Drive, St. Louis, MO 63121, will be the host of the Fairy Glam Project Prom Expo that will take place on Sunday, April 1st, 2012 from 2pm to 5pm

Saturday Classes

Saturday Classes are back on at Girls Inc of St. Louis.

Girls Inc is having piano lessons, come learn how to play the piano or simply brush up on your skills. Starting in February, Girls Inc will be offering piano lessions for four consecutive Saturdays. Classes start on Saturday, Feburary 4th and continue each Saturday until Saturday, February 25th when they will end with a piano recital. All class information is below:

Class Schedule (Saturday) - Feb. 4th, Feb. 11th, Feb. 18th and Feb. 25th

Class Time - 10:00am - 1:00pm

Cost - $10/ per class ($40 total) - You may pay each Saturday or in Full

PLEASE NOTE - THE THE GIRLS MUST BRING A LUNCH!!

The girls will have a recital on Feb. 25th at 1:00pm in the gym.
